# 99½ REBORN — Visual Upgrade Checklist

Build 042 / Pass 33 focuses on renderer optimization and graphics stability.

## Desktop loop

1. Open `/play/` and start Free Drive.
2. Open Performance Lab with `P` and Visual Upgrade with `U`.
3. Confirm FPS, canvas pixels, draw calls, triangles and culled instance counts are visible.
4. Drive through town, weather, and memory replay.
5. Confirm Photo Mode still works after the Visual overlay is opened and closed.

## Mobile loop

1. Open in landscape.
2. Start Free Drive and use touch controls.
3. Confirm Visual Upgrade reports `mobile` tier, capped canvas pixels, and no frame errors.
4. Rotate to portrait and confirm the existing pause/rotation guard still controls play.
5. Export Visual and Performance reports manually if a device struggles.

This kit does not upload telemetry and does not certify FPS. It gives local evidence for player reports and future tuning.
