# 99½ REBORN — Privacy checklist

Build 029 / Pass 20 documents the current local-first privacy posture.

## Before public sharing

- State clearly that the game is free to play, no account, no ads and no microtransactions.
- State clearly that saves are local browser data and may be cleared by the browser or user.
- Keep feedback manual: copy/paste Markdown or JSON, no silent upload.
- Keep Launch Check local: exported JSON is created only when the user downloads it.
- Do not request real names, addresses, legal information, payment information or sensitive family details in playtest templates.

## Browser data inventory

- localStorage: player save, story progress, settings, route memories and recovery copy.
- Cache Storage: static offline game assets under /play/.
- IndexedDB: not intentionally used by this package.
- Downloaded files: manual exports chosen by the player/tester.

## Deletion path

1. Export any session or stored save the player wants to keep.
2. Use browser site settings to clear data for the website origin.
3. Reload /play/ to start fresh.
4. Use /repair/ only for loader restart; it deliberately does not erase saves.

## Not a legal document

This page is a practical privacy summary for the static package. It is not legal advice, not a full storefront privacy policy review, and not a certification by any platform.
