# Battery Governor checklist

1. Open `/play/` and start Free Drive.
2. Press `B` or the BATTERY button.
3. Drive normally and confirm `batteryIdleMode` is `active`.
4. Stop the car and leave controls untouched for at least 12 seconds.
5. Confirm idle mode moves through watch/coast to parked, with a lower frame cap.
6. Confirm input immediately returns the report to active operation.
7. On mobile, confirm the page stays responsive and weather/rain overlay looks lighter while parked.
8. Export the local JSON report and attach it to feedback if needed.

No telemetry, backend, account, cloud save, ads or microtransactions are used by this test.
